Tuition, Travel and Refund Policy

Please note: Unless otherwise specified, our workshop tuition covers instructor fees, food and lodging. Participants are responsible for travel costs and travel to and from the workshop, in addition to any room service ordered when we stay in hotels. When lodging occurs in a hotel, the hotel will ask all participants for a credit card number as a security deposit. 

Refund Policy:

For any student accepted into a Whale Rock Workshop event, there is a $500 non refundable US application fee for our workshops and a $250 non refundable US application fee for our retreats. 

  • The $250 or $500 application fee is non-refundable once applicants are accepted.

  • Students may put 1/2 the application fee towards another event.

  • Applicants may withdraw from the workshop with no additional penalty except the initial deposit up to 3 months prior to an event.

  • Withdrawal between 3 months and 6 weeks prior to the event results in a 50% refund unless we can fill the spot from our wait list. If we can fill the spot, applicants will be refunded full tuition, minus the application fee and a $250 late withdrawal penalty.

  • Tuition is not refundable within 6 weeks of an event unless we can fill the spot from our wait list. If we can fill the spot, applicants will be refunded full tuition, minus the application fee and a $250 late withdrawal penalty.
