Anne Marie Pace
In spite of the adage to write what you know, Anne Marie Pace has never been a vampire, a ballerina, a groundhog, or a tow truck driver. Her picture books include Sunny’s Tow Truck Saves the Day (Abrams Appleseed, illustrated by Christopher Lee); Groundhog Day (Disney-Hyperion, illustrated by Christopher Denise); Pigloo (Henry Holt, illustrated by Lorna Hussey); Busy-Eyed Day (Beach Lane Books, illustrated by Frann Preston-Gannon); and the four books of the Vampirina Ballerina series (Disney-Hyperion, illustrated by LeUyen Pham), which has been adapted into Disney Junior’s Emmy-nominated hit animated series Vampirina. Forthcoming is Mouse Calls, illustrated by Erin Kraan. She lives with her family in Virginia.
